Having taken over an old pasta joint, we added striking features to a newly established ‘The Cray Seafood & Grill Restaurant’ in Innaloo.

Eager to make a statement on the busy main road of Innaloo, The Cray enlisted DBD Global for their design and renovation. As a trusted trade partner of DBD, we were brought in to install eye-catching timber features throughout the restaurant.

Not only did we adorn the 10m long bar with batten-style panelling, we spent tedious hours hand crafting seamless mitred returns to the top and bottom of all the panelling to provide the finest finish. The finer details are everything to us so a simple border/frame just wasn’t going to cut it.

This timber panelling was also used in the dining booth at the entry of the restaurant to continue the same styling, and BCI Perth even matched the timber of their custom booth seating so the whole inside dining area ties together beautifully.

Our other big task was to install individual timber battens to the whole ceiling of the alfresco dining area including a curved section which has added flair and height to the space. We accompanied this with a large feature wall of matching timber battens an artificial vertical garden wrapping around their new LED signage.
